Wednesday, June 26, 2024 Radisson Hotel Group proudly announces the addition of seven new hotels, contributing over 1,200 hotel rooms to its African portfolio and marking its debut in Tanzania in the first half of 2024. This expansion boosts the Group’s presence in Africa to nearly 100 hotels in operation and development, aligning with its goal to reach 150 hotels within the next five years. Tanzania is now a key market in the Group’s strategic expansion, with two new hotel signings.

This move strengthens Radisson’s diverse African portfolio, which spans 30 countries, solidifying its status as the hotel company with the largest market presence in Africa. In Nigeria, Radisson holds a dominant position with 13 hotels currently in operation and development, including five newly signed in 2023. The recent signing of the Radisson RED Hotel Abuja enhances the Group’s presence in the city, totaling four hotels under development in Abuja.



In Morocco, Radisson has transformed its presence from one hotel in 2020 to over nine hotels in operation and four in development. Casablanca, a strategic hub, now hosts the Radisson Blu Hotel & Apartments Casablanca Finance City and Radisson RED Hotel Casablanca Finance City, supporting the Group’s ambition to reach over 25 hotels in Morocco by 2030.
