Thursday, May 23, 2024 Qatar Airways ‘ destination management division, Discover Qatar, has introduced an exclusive air tour named ‘Discover Doha by Air’. This new venture enhances the experience of exploring Qatar by offering travelers a unique view of its stunning landscapes and iconic landmarks from the comfort of a light aircraft. Targeted at those who seek tailored, adventurous experiences, the ‘Discover Doha by Air’ tour combines elements of adventure, thrill, and exploration in an exceptional way.
Each tour is meticulously organized to ensure the comfort of up to eight passengers in the air-conditioned cabin of a Cessna 208 Caravan. This single-engine turboprop utility aircraft features large windows perfect for aerial sightseeing. Passengers will also benefit from headphones provided onboard, enabling clear listening to the pilot’s commentary throughout the flight.
Discover Qatar Senior Vice President, Steven Reynolds , said: “Guests are invited to embark on an unforgettable journey around Doha’s skies, soaring above remarkable landscapes and cultural treasures, on the Cessna 208 Caravan. At Discover Qatar, we are continuously working to curate our offerings to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.” The aircraft, with a 45-minute flight duration, will depart from Doha International Airport Premium Terminal.
The initial route includes flyovers of Al Thumama Stadium, Aspire Zone, and Education City before heading towards Lusail Stadium, Al Bay.
