Wednesday, June 19, 2024 Carnival Corporation Celebrates Shore Power Launch at PortMiami with Carnival Conquest Shore power has officially arrived for ships docked at PortMiami. Today, Carnival Conquest, representing Carnival Corporation & plc (NYSE/LSE: CCL; NYSE: CUK), the world’s largest cruise company, marked this milestone by becoming the first cruise ship to plug into landside electrical power at the cruise capital of the world. The inaugural event, held by Carnival Corporation, celebrated the introduction of shore power at PortMiami, announcing that Carnival Conquest would lead the initiative as the first cruise ship to connect to landside electrical power.
