YOU can get into a popular California theme park for free, but you have to go about it the right way. While travelers won't be able to stay at the park for the entire day, the trick is great for a short visit. Legoland California grants visitors interested in shopping at their resort a free pass.

Shoppers do have to pay upfront, but their trip gets reimbursed with their proof of purchase. "Guests that are solely interested in shopping at LEGOLAND California Resort, you will need to pay for parking and then you may request a Shopper’s Pass option at the ticket booth or outside Guest Service window," the park's site explained . "You will be required to purchase a full-price 1-day LEGOLAND only ticket.



" Visitors are then allowed a full hour in the park to do as they please. "[You] must spend $25 in retail items and show receipt of purchase, in order to receive a full refund on your ticket purchase after you exit," the site said. "Your tickets and parking, with receipt, can only be refunded at the outside Guest Services window and must show that it was scanned at the turnstile within the past 60 minutes.

" The offer is not valid for special events at the theme park , including Brick-or-Treat Party nights, or Saturdays in October. While shoppers are welcome to take advantage of the offer, the park's Big Shop is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so plan accordingly. The offer is also limited to Shopper Passes only.
