Tuesday, May 21, 2024 The skies over Phoenix are brighter today with the arrival of Condor Airlines (DE) flight #DE2026 from Frankfurt. This non-stop route is now serviced by Condor’s new Airbus A330neo, featuring their distinctive striped branding. Just in time for the summer transatlantic travel season, Condor will offer three weekly flights (Monday, Thursday, and Saturday) to its Frankfurt hub, providing easy connections to over 100 destinations across Europe and beyond.

The A330neo, replacing the previous Boeing 767, will significantly reduce operating costs while increasing passenger and cargo capacity for the Frankfurt market. The A330neo is the latest version of the popular A330 widebody aircraft. Equipped with the latest generation Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines, new wings, and aerodynamic innovations, it reduces Condor’s fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by 20 percent.

The A330neo consumes just 2.1 liters of fuel per passenger per 100 kilometers, well below the industry average. It is the first aircraft certified for the regulatory reduction in CO2 emissions required by 2028, thereby reducing travelers’ environmental footprint.

The A330neo supports advanced flight and navigation systems tailored to Condor’s specifications, enabling more noise- and CO2-efficient approaches and departures, even at high-altitude airports, reducing noise pollution by up to 60 percent. “Condor has been serving Sky Harbor since 2018, and today we are thrilled to bring our new A3.
