Tuesday, May 28, 2024 In a bid to boost tourism in Palm Beach County during the summer off-season, Discover the Palm Beaches has introduced “The Palm Beach Collection” campaign. This initiative allows visitors to complete a questionnaire to receive a customized itinerary based on their specific interests. This campaign is one of several initiatives designed to enhance the county’s tourism sector, as explained by CEO Milton Segarra during a breakfast event for Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce members at The Breakers.

Segarra informed business leaders that Discover the Palm Beaches, a nonprofit organization responsible for marketing the county as a premier tourist destination, has made substantial investments in its technological capabilities. These investments include launching a new website with a live chat feature for customer service and upgrading the organization’s marketing software. These enhancements aim to provide a more interactive and efficient experience for tourists, ultimately making Palm Beach County a more attractive destination.

Another significant initiative mentioned by Segarra is the planned Certified Tourism Ambassador program. This industry-recognized certification will allow workers, business leaders, and officials to become expert guides on the county’s diverse entertainment offerings. Such a program is expected to improve the overall quality of service and knowledge within the tourism sector, providing a better experience for visitors.
