Wednesday, May 29, 2024 Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has unveiled a significant expansion across the Asia-Pacific region, Australia, and New Zealand, with over 30 new itineraries planned. This ambitious rollout encompasses 85 voyages from September 2024 to March 2026, featuring NCL’s Norwegian Spirit, Norwegian Sun, and Norwegian Sky ships—all new to this part of the world. David J.

Herrera, President of Norwegian Cruise Line, emphasized the company’s commitment to delivering exceptional vacation experiences. “Our company is committed to delivering more opportunities for our guests to explore the world with remarkable vacation experiences. Having lived in Asia with my family, I can attest to it being one of those unforgettable places,” said Herrera.



He highlighted the increasing interest in immersive and exotic itineraries, expressing excitement over the expanded season and additional ships catering to travelers eager to explore both popular cities and lesser-known destinations in the region. Norwegian Spirit will debut in Asia on May 26 with a 10-day cruise departing from Tokyo, focusing on Japan. Her autumn season will feature 9-15 day voyages around Japan and Southeast Asia from September 22, 2024, to November 2025.

Norwegian Sun will make her Australian debut in December, offering voyages that take in the Great Barrier Reef, the South Pacific, and New Zealand, departing from Brisbane and Melbourne. Herrera also noted the unmatched diversity of the Asia-Pacific re.
