Friday, June 7, 2024 In May 2024, Norse Atlantic Airways experienced a significant increase in its operational metrics, more than doubling the number of passengers, Available Seat Kilometers (ASK), and Revenue Passenger Kilometers (RPK) compared to May 2023. This growth is aligned with the peak summer demand, leading to an impressive rise in the airline’s load factor. The average load factor for the month reached 81%, marking an eight percentage point increase year-over-year.
The airline also reported a busy schedule with a total of 513 flights, including 55 charter flights, transporting 129,722 passengers throughout the month. This demonstrates Norse Atlantic Airways’ expanding capacity and ability to handle a larger volume of flights and passengers. Operational efficiency remained high, with 81% of the flights arriving within 15 minutes of their scheduled times, showcasing the airline’s punctuality.
Additionally, Norse Atlantic Airways achieved a flight completion rate of 99%, indicating robust operational performance and reliability in their service delivery during the month. “May marked a busy month for Norse Atlantic as the company ramped up operations in line with higher summer season demand.
