Visa-Free Entry Policy Nicaragua’s visa-free entry policy includes a wide array of countries. This policy covers several categories of countries including Schengen Area nations, Latin American countries, and select nations from other continents. Schengen Visa Countries : Citizens from Schengen Visa countries can enter Nicaragua without a visa for short stays.



This includes popular European nations such as Germany, France, Spain, Italy, and the Netherlands. Latin American Countries : Neighboring countries in Latin America, including Mexico, Colombia, and Costa Rica, benefit from the visa-free policy, promoting regional tourism and economic cooperation. Other Select Nations : Additionally, countries like Japan, South Korea, and Australia also enjoy visa-free access, encouraging tourists from these regions to explore Nicaragua’s rich cultural and natural attractions.

The US : The U.S. passport holders can enter Nicaragua for a short-term tourism purpose without the requirement of a tourist visa for a short-term stay of 90 days.
