The first phase on the NDR will begin on June 17 and last three weeks. It will include repairs to the bridge deck surfacing, faulty sub-surface drainage and waterproofing beneath the road surface.

A temporary repair was carried out in November to allow the road to be fully open until this summer when permanent repairs could be carried out. A northbound road closure will be in place, allowing southbound traffic to be redirected on to the northbound lane to create a one-way system.

This will allow access to the A47 and the Postwick Park & Ride site to be maintained. Northbound traffic will be able to use a short diversion via Yarmouth Road, Broadlan.
