Wednesday, May 22, 2024 The National Industrial Development Center (NIDC) of Saudi Arabia, AHQ Group, and Embraer signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today, aiming to devise a joint strategy for fostering the local aerospace ecosystem. The MoU signing took place in Riyadh during the Future Aviation Forum. This MoU aims at integrating Embraer aircraft into the Saudi Arabian aviation sector and exploring potential collaborations in technology, supply chains, and human resources development.
These efforts are intended to enhance product and service excellence, assess industrial capabilities, and uncover new business opportunities. Embraer has previously engaged with local companies and the Saudi government to integrate its offerings and establish industrial partnerships aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategic plan. This agreement marks another significant step in strengthening the ties between Embraer and Saudi Arabia’s expanding aerospace cluster.
NIDC is committed to promoting the growth and diversification of the Kingdom’s industrial and manufacturing sectors by fostering partnerships between local and international entities to enhance the Saudi economy. Additionally, under this agreement, Embraer and AHQ will further evaluate the potential of the E2 aircraft family as the preferred option for a new airline venture in the region..
