Friday, June 7, 2024 Jasmin Bajić , President of the Management Board and CEO of Croatia Airlines, was today re-elected to the Board of Governors of the International Air Transport Association (IATA). The decision on his re-election was taken at the proposal of the IATA Nominating Committee, and was adopted today at IATA’s Annual General Meeting held in Dubai. Jasmin Bajić’s new three-year mandate starts at the end of 2024.
It’s worth recalling that Jasmin Bajić was first elected to IATA’s Board of Governors on 6 March this year, which was a great international recognition for Croatia’s flag carrier. Croatia Airlines became a member of IATA in 1992, and has been contributing to the high quality of IATA’s work ever since with the airline’s professional experience and knowledge, while actively shaping an air travel market which is safer, more sustainable, and more accessible to all key stakeholders. The International Air Transport Association or IATA gathers over 320 airlines, which account for 83% of total international air traffic.
