Wednesday, June 5, 2024 The Met Office has issued a weather forecast predicting rain for the first UK concerts of Taylor Swift ’s highly anticipated tour. As Swifties across the country prepare to see their favorite pop star, they are being advised to bring umbrellas and raincoats to stay dry during the performances. The first UK leg of Taylor Swift’s tour is set to kick off on June 9th at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium, with subsequent performances in Edinburgh and Cardiff.

However, the Met Office forecasts wet weather conditions, which may impact the concert experience for thousands of eager fans. On Friday, June 9th, rain is expected to move into Manchester in the afternoon, with heavy showers predicted throughout the evening. Temperatures will remain mild, hovering around 17°C, but the persistent rain will likely create a soggy atmosphere for the concert.

Visitors are advised to dress appropriately and consider waterproof footwear to navigate potentially slippery conditions. Edinburgh, the next stop on Swift’s tour, is set to host the concert on June 10th. The Met Office forecasts a similar weather pattern, with rain anticipated from the late afternoon into the evening.

Temperatures will be slightly cooler, peaking at 15°C, and the rain may intensify during the concert hours. Fans attending the Edinburgh show should prepare for wet and potentially windy conditions. The third UK concert in Cardiff on June 12th also faces a likelihood of rain.
