Monday, June 24, 2024 The World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) Congress is set to take place in Malaysia in 2026, following its postponement in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event will be held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from April 19 to 22, 2026, and is expected to draw 4,500 delegates from more than 130 countries. “It is official, we have just received the baton at the Handover Ceremony with our partner, the Hemophilia Society of Malaysia (HSM) at the WFH World Congress 2024 in Madrid, Spain.

Mr. Azman continued to note that the postponement was an unfortunate delay but was necessary. “The safety of people is a priority.

However, the postponement also reinforced the importance of organising and hosting health-focused events as they are crucial in gathering world experts for breakthrough discovery and innovative solutions”.
