Monday, July 1, 2024 Malaysia Airlines recently hosted the largest airline trade event ever held in Malaysia, the inaugural Malaysia Airlines Trade Elevation Summit 2024, in partnership with Tourism Malaysia (TM) and the Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB). The summit convened 300 delegates, including over 200 international attendees from 48 cities and 21 countries. This milestone event marked a significant achievement for Malaysia Airlines in advancing the objectives of Visit Malaysia Year 2026 (VMY2026) and positioning Kuala Lumpur (KUL) as a pivotal gateway to Asia and beyond.

It solidified Malaysia’s role as a key ASEAN tourism and aviation hub. Key decision-makers from prominent global trade companies actively participated in the summit, fostering international collaboration, strategizing future initiatives, and strengthening partnerships essential for enhancing Malaysia’s global tourism standing. The summit underscored Malaysia Airlines’ commitment to utilizing its position as the national carrier to bolster national tourism goals.
