Friday, June 14, 2024 The Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) is participating in the International Travel Expo (ITE) Hong Kong 2024, which includes the 38th International Travel Expo (Leisure) and the 19th MICE Travel Expo, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from June 13 to 16, 2024. Under the theme “Forward to Full Recovery” and “Rediscover the World,” MGTO aims to promote Macao as a premier destination for leisure and business travel, seeking to expand its international visitor markets. Distinctive Booth Highlights Macao’s “Tourism+” Appeal MGTO’s representatives attended the opening ceremony of ITE Hong Kong 2024 today (June 13).

This year’s booth, themed “Experience Macao,” features elements of Macao’s traditional architecture, such as large archways and vibrant lighting installations, to showcase the city’s dazzling skyline. The booth is equipped with an LED wall and digital panels displaying the latest promotional videos and tourism information about Macao. Visitors can take photos with the Macao Tourism Mascot MAK MAK, participate in interactive games, and receive souvenirs by following MGTO on social media.



Additionally, Macao’s booth connects with Hengqin’s booth, highlighting multi-destination travel opportunities. Support from Hong Kong’s Online Travel Platforms This year, 32 tourism businesses from Macao, including hotels, travel agencies, and transportation companies, are participating as co-exhibitors to promote.
