A crash on the M4 brought motorway traffic to a standstill this morning and is creating long queues (Monday, May 20). The collision happened on the westbound carriageway between junction 19 for Bristol and junction 20 for the . Motorway cameras showed stationary traffic and delays of around 20 minutes are reported.
Three lanes remain closed although traffic is getting past in one lane. There are also delays eastbound as drivers look at the crash scene. Emergency services are at the scene.
