Standing around waiting for your luggage to appear on the airport conveyor belt is one of the downsides of flying. (Especially when people crowd on top of it with their trolleys - stand back people!) And it's all to do with checking in. Canadian Radio host, Catherine Duranceau, known as Catherine D talked about how "annoying" it is when you wait for your luggage for hours on her show. But she offered a tip.

"If your luggage is the last to be placed on the plane it will be the first to come out, when you think about it it's logic. "When you check your suitcase ask airport staff to put a 'fragile' sticker on it.

"That means it will be placed above others to prevent it being damaged. "This is because it's supposed to be fragile and it will be the first to be unloaded." Either way, it's a hack we're willing to try. However, when it comes to making sure you grab the right bag, there's a big no-no.
