Thursday, June 13, 2024 Lufthansa Group (LHG) is rolling out eSIM technology across its airlines to enhance the travel experience and provide affordable mobile data services. This decision follows the successful introduction of the eSIM service by SWISS, a Lufthansa subsidiary, in partnership with eSIM Go. After witnessing positive results with SWISS, LHG will now offer eSIM services to passengers on Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines , and Brussels Airlines .
Enabled by eSIM Go’s Powered by Breeze solution, these services will allow travelers to stay connected in over 150 countries without incurring high data roaming charges. This move aligns with Lufthansa’s commitment to offering a seamless and cost-effective connectivity solution to its passengers. Lufthansa Group, a leading global aviation entity, recorded €35.
