Wednesday, June 19, 2024 Lufthansa now offers free digital magazines, live football updates, and expanded in-flight entertainment, including podcasts, on all flights via the FlyNet® portal. Lufthansa has introduced enhanced in-flight entertainment across its fleet. On short and medium-haul routes, travelers can now enjoy a selection of approximately 45 acclaimed magazines in both German and English at no cost.

This is made possible through the airline’s FlyNet® Wi-Fi portal, allowing passengers to read on their personal devices. Additionally, this service extends to long-haul flights equipped with Lufthansa’s new Allegris cabin, which features a revamped entertainment system accessible in every class. For the first time, digital magazines can be viewed directly on the seat monitors by passengers in all travel categories.



Furthermore, depending on their travel class and Miles & More status, passengers have the option to download a specific number of eJournals before their flight continues until the end of their journey. The selection includes around 1,600 publications available in 40 different languages. Lufthansa has also expanded its entertainment offerings on European flights to include podcasts.

The FlyNet® portal now hosts a diverse array of content spanning business, travel, science, and entertainment topics, available in German and English without charge. During the European Men’s Football Championship, Lufthansa adds another layer of engagement by enabling pas.
