Tuesday, June 18, 2024 This summer, travelers throughout London and the South East can choose from 223 destinations served by 56 airlines at London Gatwick. Ahead of the UK school summer holidays, 14 new services are set to launch. Recent additions include short-haul flights to Gothenburg (Sweden), Vagar (Faroe Islands), and Ponta Delgada (Azores, Portugal).

Today marks the start of a new route to Varna (Bulgaria), with Salerno (Italy) scheduled to begin on 13 July. For long-haul travelers, new options include Halifax and St John’s in Canada, Beijing and Erbil in Iraq. Starting 20 June, Guangzhou (China) will be available, followed by Singapore on 22 June.



Additional services to Jersey (Channel Islands), Skiathos (Greece), and Rome (Italy) are now operational as well.
