The M57 has partially closed following a "vehicle fire". According to traffic management system Inrix, two lanes are closed and there is queueing traffic on the M57 northbound from J2 A57 Liverpool Road (Prescot) to J3 A526 Seth Powell Way (Stockbridge Village). North West Motorway Police confirmed officers were being sent to the scene.
