The A40 in Gloucester is closed in both directions, with traffic building up for around three miles either way, as an air ambulance has reportedly been spotted landing on a bypass at Over Causeway. Traffic site Inrix reported shortly after 14.30 this afternoon (Weds) that traffic is queuing from A417 Over Causeway, at Over Roundabout, to Longford Roundabout on A38 Tewkesbury Road.
And aircraft tracker ADSB Exchange showed an air ambulance landing between the two roundabouts at around the same time. Great Western Air Ambulance has been contacted for comment. Follow our blog below for live updates.
