Monday, July 8, 2024 Kenya Airways and IOM Kenya partner to fight human trafficking, enhance migrant protection through training, policy advocacy, and information sharing. Kenya Airways has forged a strategic partnership with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Kenya by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This collaboration is designed to bolster efforts against human trafficking and improve the safeguarding of migrants’ rights.

The partnership leverages IOM Kenya’s proficiency in migration governance and Kenya Airways’ expansive aviation network to implement strong measures aimed at identifying, preventing, and combating human trafficking, as well as facilitating regular migration pathways. This collaboration underscores the dedication of both organizations to uphold human dignity, support the most vulnerable individuals in transit, and promote regular migration channels.
