Thursday, June 13, 2024 JetBlue launches a new route to Tulum, offering $99 fares and enhancing its service network in Mexico. JetBlue (NASDAQ: JBLU) declared today that it has inaugurated a new route from New York’s John F. The inaugural flight touched down in Tulum earlier today. The service to Tulum will be available every day, marking JetBlue’s third location in Mexico, following Cancun and Los Cabos. “As the only airline with direct service from New York’s JFK to Tulum, we are thrilled to offer our customers our award-winning service, low fares, and another option when traveling to the Mexican Caribbean,” said David Jehn, JetBlue’s vice president of network planning and airline partnerships.
“JetBlue began service to Mexico more than 17 years ago with flights from New York to Cancun and we’re proud to expand our footprint in Mexico.” “JetBlue has been an invaluable partner in connecting travelers from across the United States to the Mexican Caribbean with direct flights to Cancun. We are excited to see this partnership continue to flourish with JetBlue’s new daily nonstop service from New York JFK to Tulum,” said Andrés Martínez Reynoso, Director of the Quintana Roo Tourism Board.
“Tulum, with its serene beaches, eco-conscious living, and rich Mayan history, will now be more accessible to travelers, in addition to points of interest fur.
