The package holiday company will offer trips to the Costa de la Luz region of Spain, via Faro Airport, throughout summer 2025. Jet2 was already offering flights to Faro from the airport but has added the new packages to the Spanish coast, a short drive across the Spain-Portugal border from the Algarve airport. The packages will be on offer from early May to the end of October in 2025.
Since announcing its launch from Bournemouth Airport in March, the airline and holiday company said it had had ‘strong demand’ for its flights and packages. The Costa de la Luz packages will allow holidaymakers to choose from hotels in the four resorts of Punta Umbria, Isla Canela, Isla Cristina and El Rompido. Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.
