Thursday, June 13, 2024 Quebec-based JB Aviation Services (JBAS), a leader in comprehensive aviation logistics and services solutions, is set to invest $55 million at the Montreal Metropolitan Airport (MET) to develop a premier private aviation terminal. This significant investment underscores JBAS’s commitment to advancing airport services. The company is proud to elevate the aviation industry to new heights.

JBAS President Jocelin Bureau announced this development today during the International Economic Forum of the Americas (FEIA). The event, held at MET, saw over 80 attendees, including partners, industry colleagues, and local community representatives. JBAS aims to ensure top-tier aviation logistics, merging operational excellence with sustainable innovation.



The new terminal will provide 5-star services for corporate and private aircraft, along with flight shuttle logistics management for workers across various sectors in Quebec and Canada. Positioned within the aerospace innovation zone, JBAS will support the vital business aviation market and become a crucial economic pillar of the ecosystem. The terminal will feature cutting-edge innovation to enhance passenger experience, offering smaller, more fuel-efficient, and quieter aircraft, aligning with MET’s vision for responsible development.

Construction of the new terminal will begin in September 2024, with operations expected to start in fall 2025. Spanning a 500,000 sq. ft.
