Friday, June 7, 2024 ITE Hong Kong 2024, encompassing the 38th International Travel Expo (ITE) for Leisure and the 19th MICE Travel Expo, is set to take place from June 13 to 16 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). The event will be divided into two segments: the initial two days will be dedicated to trade professionals, while the final two days will open to the public. This year’s major theme, “Rediscovering the World,” aims to highlight the diverse opportunities and experiences available in the travel industry.
Over 500 exhibitors from 60 countries or regions are expected to participate, including 21 new entrants such as Bulgaria, Jordan, Kazakhstan (Almaty City), Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Mariana, Pakistan, Seychelles, South Africa, Slovenia, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. This broad representation underscores the event’s commitment to fostering global connectivity and promoting emerging travel destinations. Significantly, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China will be organizing participation from 17 provinces and cities across China.
This initiative highlights China’s vibrant cultural and tourism offerings, positioning the country as a focal point for travel enthusiasts and industry professionals alike.
