Known for its commitment to community and inclusive employment practices, Innisfree Hotels has partnered with Project SEARCH to provide training and employment opportunities for young people with disabilities. This partnership not only supports the company’s inclusive values but also prepares the next generation of hospitality professionals.
Project SEARCH is a nationwide program aimed at preparing young people with significant disabilities for success in competitive integrated employment. The program involves a one-year internship where participants rotate through various job roles within a host business, gaining valuable work experience and skills. Innisfree Hotels has been hosting Project SEARCH sites since 2018.
Currently, the program operates at six of Innisfree’s properties in Fort Walton Beach and Pensacola Beach, Florida. These properties include: Interns in the Project SEARCH program at Innisfree Hotels typically range in age from 18 to 22 years old. They spend a school year rotating through various roles at the hotels, including housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, front desk, and food and beverage positions.
