Doing a good deed can make us feel warm and fuzzy inside. Kindness costs nothing – and can uplift others as well as yourself. But sometimes, heartwarming actions aren't appreciated by those you help.

Not only were they shoved into the middle seat, they also had the parent's bare feet to contend with. On Reddit, they moaned: "Gave up my window seat for this guys' kid as he looked super happy about it and didn't have the heart to say 'no'. I get the middle seat in the middle isle and the dad does this all flight.

One Redditor responded: "I’ll never understand why people remove their shoes in public. Keep your nasty feet away. No one wants to see that.
" Another said: "Uh. People. Flying is suffering.
" And a third joked: "If that foot crosses the border I will treat it as an act of war. Fair warning." Despite the support, others blamed the holidaymaker for not simply asking the dad to put shoes on or budge over.
One wrote: "People. Speak up. Come on.
