Tuesday, June 25, 2024 Hundreds of guests donned their finest disco outfits as they flocked to LEGOLAND® New York Resort yesterday, all set to groove, celebrate, and make history. The festive disco extravaganza marked the grand debut of LEGOLAND New York’s latest attraction: Minifigure Skyflyer. This thrilling ride promises an airborne party experience, whisking guests through the park to the beat of the iconic Minifigure Skyflyer Dance.
704 guests arrived at the family theme park adorned in sequined apparel, sparkly tutus, disco ball-themed accessories, and other disco-inspired outfits. Together, they participated in a Park-wide disco dance party, setting a new record of 704 attendees, surpassing the previous record of 598. DJ Dimension kicked off the attempt with a tutorial on the ride’s signature dance, followed by a countdown to confetti cannons that erupted amidst cheers.
The Minifigure Skyflyer disco tune filled every speaker as guests danced their way to achieving the world record.
