Thursday, July 4, 2024 The Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) has recently revealed an extensive multimedia communication campaign in collaboration with the National Railways Office (ONCF). This initiative is designed to promote domestic tourism by leveraging Morocco’s expansive rail network and offering attractive travel options to local tourists. The collaborative campaign between the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) and the National Railways Office (ONCF) aims to boost domestic tourism by offering attractive rail travel options, benefiting top cities like Casablanca , Marrakech , Fez, Tangier, Rabat, Agadir, Meknes, and Chefchaouen through increased economic growth, cultural exposure, and enhanced infrastructure.
The ONCF will be marketing up to 350,000 tickets at highly competitive prices. Specifically, tickets for the Al Boraq high-speed lines (LGV) will start at 89 DH, while tickets for the Atlas trains will be available for as low as 49 DH. In addition to these affordable tickets, the two organizations have introduced the Yalla Morocco discount card.
This card offers a 30% discount on all travel on both the Atlas and Al Boraq trains, further incentivizing domestic travel within Morocco. To ensure a more targeted deployment of the campaign, the ONMT will predominantly utilize digital channels. The campaign will feature four well-known celebrities and influencers: Samia Akariou, Oussama Ramzi, Rachid Ghaoudi, and Zineb Obeid.
