Saturday, June 1, 2024 On Tuesday, May 28, a significant meeting titled “Travel Works for America Power Hour” was held, featuring U.S. Congressman John Joyce alongside over 20 leaders from the Gettysburg travel and business community.

The session underscored the substantial role that travel plays in boosting local businesses and the regional economy. “Travel is essential to the global competitiveness of the U.S.



and is critically important to communities like Gettysburg, which rely on travel to power the economy and workforce,” said Tori Emerson Barnes , U.S. Travel Executive Vice President for Public Affairs and Policy.
