Thursday, July 11, 2024 The team behind the Western Australia Tourism Conference revealed this evening that Fremantle will host the landmark 10th edition of the event from May 26 to 28, 2025. Evan Hall, CEO of Tourism Council WA, expressed enthusiasm about the decision to bring the 2025 conference to Fremantle, highlighting the excitement among conference partners. “The 2025 WA Tourism Conference is expected to attract more than 250 delegates from across Western Australia and make a significant economic impact on the local destination,” he said.

“We’re looking forward to showcasing the City of Fremantle to tourism businesses and industry delegates from across Western Australia, who will then promote the destination to potential visitors,” he said. The declaration occurred during the 2024 Perth Airport WA Tourism Conference Dinner, which took place this evening at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre, located in the City of Mandurah. Hannah Fitzhardinge, the Mayor of the City of Fremantle, stated that Fremantle would be an ideal location for the upcoming statewide conference in 2025.



“Fremantle is a world-class tourist destination. We’re thrilled to welcome industry leaders to our port city to showcase all we have to offer,” Mayor Fitzhardinge said. “The 2025 WA Tourism Conference offers a wonderful opportunity not just to show people what we do here in Freo, but also to learn from other tourism destinations across our amazing state,” she added.
