Tuesday, May 21, 2024 Four Seasons Resort Lanai will host a two-week celestial event series from May 18, 2024, to celebrate International Spring Astronomy Day with various activities. Four Seasons Resort Lanai is excited to announce a two-week series of celestial events and activities starting May 18, 2024, coinciding with International Spring Astronomy Day. Originally celebrated by the Astronomical Association of Northern California in 1973, Astronomy Day has since expanded globally, encouraging public engagement in space-related activities.

Guests at Lanai can look forward to the following experiences: Hawanawana Spa Stargazing Heart Meditation : Join Wellness Supervisor Caroline Reese for a 45-minute guided open-heart meditation under a star-filled sky. Cultivate mindfulness in the serene Lanai Gardens, with the sounds of Hulopoe Bay, ocean breezes, and the fragrance of tropical greenery enhancing the experience. Sessions are available on Sunday, May 19 and May 26 at 7:00 pm.



Additional classes can be found on the online calendar. Lanai Observatory Moon Nights : Experience the moon through a high-end 1-meter telescope and learn about its historical significance in ancient Hawaii. Led by the Resort’s Love Lanai Cultural Advisors, this 30-minute complimentary session reveals how the moon’s cycles influenced planting and fishing, and explores the mythology of Hina, the Hawaiian goddess of motherhood.

Sessions are available on May 18 and 19, with three 30-minute slots star.
