Wednesday, July 3, 2024 flydubai , the Dubai-based airline, unveiled its new direct flights to two destinations in Iran. Starting on 07 September, flydubai will offer a four-times weekly service to Kish Island and a twice-weekly service to Kerman beginning 09 September. Hamad Obaidalla, Chief Commercial Officer at flydubai, said: “we have continued to look for opportunities to open up underserved markets and so we are pleased to offer our customers more convenient options for travel to Iran.
flydubai is dedicated to creating free flows of trade and tourism and with Kerman and Kish Island as our newest destinations, we look forward to providing our passengers more opportunities to explore our extensive network.” In addition, the airline will commence daily flights to Islamabad and Lahore in Pakistan from 01 July. flydubai is also set to expand its European reach with new routes to Basel in Switzerland on 02 August, Riga in Latvia on 11 October, and both Tallinn in Estonia and Vilnius in Lithuania on 12 October.
