Tuesday, May 28, 2024 The Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) is set to launch the “Experience Macao Roadshow in Korea” this Thursday (30 May), following the “Macao Tourism + MICE Product Updates Seminar & Travel Mart” on Wednesday (29 May). The event aims to showcase Macao’s diverse attractions to Korean residents and travel industry professionals, fostering connections and partnerships to attract international visitors. Following last year’s successful roadshow in Seoul, MGTO returns to host this year’s four-day event in the prestigious Shinsegae Department Store in Gangnam District, from May 30 to June 2.
Positioned in a bustling area with high foot traffic, this location is strategically chosen to attract affluent international tourists interested in exploring Macao. The roadshow, themed “My Favorite Macao,” will feature a variety of tourism elements and new attractions from Macao and the nearby Hengqin. Participants include the Economic Development Bureau of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone and six major resort enterprises.
MGTO is innovating its promotional efforts by partnering with KAKAO PAY for specially designed roadshow gifts that feature popular KAKAO FRIENDS characters. Collaborations with major online travel agency GOOD CHOICE will offer interactive games and discounted tourism products, enhancing Macao’s visibility in the Korean market.
