EUROPEAN holiday park's stays this summer cost almost the same as UK staycations. And to make it even better, Eurocamp has released a new sale with up to 20 per cent off holidays in July and August. Those looking to stretch their budget even further might opt for a holiday in France or the Netherlands, which offer discounts of up to 30 per cent.

The cheapest holidays we've found start from £224 for seven nights , which works out at £8pp a night for four people sharing. The only catch is that you'll have to book by June 18 to take advantage of the savings. There are more than 240 parks in France and 15 locations in the Netherlands, so you'll have plenty of choice.



The French parks are ideally located in popular locations across the country, from the sun-soaked beaches of the French Riviera to the picturesque Burgundy and historic Normandy. Meanwhile, in the Netherlands, holidaymakers can combine outdoor adventure with urban discovery thanks to the parks' strategic locations near well-known cities like Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Regardless of your destination, the parks have many on-site facilities and amenities, from huge waterparks, swimming pools, private beaches with paddle boarding and sandy lagoons to crazy golf and go-karting.

There are different types of accommodation, including tents, caravans and holiday homes. There are four "parc categories", so you can choose from traditional campsites, villages, resorts, splash parks and Eurocamp's "Marvilla parks", which have mas.
