Friday, July 5, 2024 Ethiopian Airlines launches four weekly flights to Warsaw, its 24th European destination, boosting Africa-Europe connectivity and enhancing trade and tourism. Ethiopian Airlines, Africa’s premier network carrier, proudly announces the launch of its new four-times-weekly flight service to Warsaw, Poland’s capital and largest city, starting 01 July 2024. The inaugural flight, departing from Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, was celebrated with a vibrant ceremony attended by the Polish Ambassador to Ethiopia, high-ranking Ethiopian government officials, and executives from Ethiopian Airlines.
This new route signifies a major milestone in Ethiopian Airlines’ European expansion, boosting global connectivity and fostering trade and tourism. The flight schedule is as follows: ET 764 Addis Ababa (ADD) – Athens (ATH) – Warsaw (WAW) on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays ET 765 Warsaw (WAW) – Athens (ATH) – Addis Ababa (ADD) on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays Regarding the commencement of the new route Mr. Mesfin Tasew, Chief Executive Officer of Ethiopian Airlines Group said , “We are truly pleased to establish yet another connection between Africa and Central Europe with the flight that we have commenced today to Warsaw, Poland.
