Made by Au Vodka, the massive bottle weighs 300kg, carries a whopping 259 litres of premium booze and of course is gold plated. It’s also a newly minted Guinness World Record holder, having officially been dubbed the biggest bottle of vodka in the world.
Guinness World Record adjudicator Richard Stenning said: "The Engineering and effort that has gone into this Guinness World Record title is outstanding. 259 litres is a lot of vodka, but that bottle that is holding this has been meticulously crafted.” The previous winner of the record was Polish vodka brand Chopin, which held only 200 litres.
Au Viodka's award-winning bottle is entirely to scale and built using the same materials as a standard 700ml bottle. According to Au Vodka, you could take a shot from the bottle every day for 28 years and still not finish it, which means you could throw one incredible party - possibly with medical assistance on standby. One American medical outlet suggests it takes four shots of vodka to get an average person drunk.
Given that an American shot is 44ml, that means the bottle could make just over 1,500 people tipsy. Given the nation's impressive drinking history, the number of sozzled Brits may be slightly lower.
