Under the ambitious Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which seeks to position the city among the top three global hubs for business and travel by 2033, DWTC’s prominence in the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) industry has been crucial in elevating Dubai as a hub of economic vigor and creativity. The 2023 Economic Impact Assessment (EIA) Annual Report from DWTC highlights the organization’s ongoing economic contributions, particularly emphasizing the significant increase in Total Economic Output, reaching AED 18.28 billion from 76 major events.
These large-scale events, which include Exhibitions, International Association Conventions, and Industry Conferences, contributed AED 10.53 billion in Gross Value Added (GVA) to Dubai’s GDP. This represents 58% of the total economic output, supporting 69,281 jobs and generating AED 3.
