Wednesday, June 5, 2024 SeaWorld is marking World Oceans Day with a special gift for park visitors, available while supplies last. By celebrating at SeaWorld, guests contribute to marine life conservation year-round, as a portion of the park’s proceeds supports animal rescue and conservation efforts. To emphasize the significance of protecting our oceans and wildlife, SeaWorld is giving away free reusable, wheat-based utensil sets to the first 1,000 visitors at each of its parks in Orlando, San Antonio, and San Diego on June 8.

This initiative encourages guests to join SeaWorld’s ongoing mission to reduce single-use plastic pollution. Notably, SeaWorld was among the first U.S.



theme parks to eliminate single-use plastic bags and straws, and in 2023, they introduced biodegradable cutlery across all their parks. “Throughout our 60-year history, we have been and continue to be committed to creating exciting and immersive experiences that help inspire guests of all ages to protect animals and the wild wonders of our world. World Oceans Day is a great reminder of the power we all have to make a positive impact on conservation,” said Marc Swanson, Chief Executive Officer of United Parks & Resorts Inc.
