DISNEY is launching its seventh cruise ship from a brand new continent for the first time. With the majority of their sailings starting in the US, Brits often have to head to Florida to join. But from 2025, the new Disney Adventure will depart from Singapore, the first to do so in Asia.

Onboard the ship will be seven themed areas: The Imagination Garden will be the heart of the ship, with an open-air performance venue and "enchanted valley". Discovery Reef will be based on nautical movies, such as The Little Mermaid and Finding Nemo with shops and restaurants while San Fransokyo Street will be inspired by street markets with games and shops as well. Moana-fans can head to Wayfinder Bay, with a Pacific island-inspired pool , while the Town Square will have shops and restaurants built into a forest with many of the famous princesses.

Marvel Landing will have an "all-new attraction" while Toy Story Place will have dining areas and waterplay zones. The Disney website adds: "This exciting new ship will also feature many other innovative 'firsts' for Disney Cruise Line, including experiences specially created for Southeast Asia." More is to be revealed about the ship nearer it's launch, as well an official launch date and prices for the three and four night voyages.

However, the routes will sail for at least five years. Disney Adventure will be the seventh cruise ship to join the fleet. Already in operation are Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy and Disney Wi.
