As residents brace for the storm, the airline industry is facing potential disruptions that could have global repercussions for travelers and tourists.

Airlines such as Delta Air Lines and Air Canada have reported major disruptions due to Hurricane Beryl. Delta Air Lines has issued travel advisories for destinations in the Caribbean and Mexico, warning travelers to expect delays and cancellations. They have implemented flexible rebooking options to accommodate passengers affected by the hurricane.



Similarly, Air Canada has allowed passengers to make voluntary changes to their itineraries without additional charges, particularly for flights to destinations like Cancún, Grand Cayman, and Jamaica, which have been directly impacted by the storm​ Hurricane’s Path and Immediate Effects The National Hurricane Center updated its advisory at 1 a.m. Central Standard Time, positioning the storm approximately 30 miles southeast of Matagorda, Texas, and about 95 miles northeast of Corpus Christi.
