Hackers can potentially access sensitive data, including personal identification, financial details, and travel itineraries. To mitigate these risks, travel companies must implement robust security measures. This includes encryption of data both in transit and at rest, regular security audits, and adherence to data protection regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in Europe and the California Consumer Privac.
