A man on a nine-month cruise revealed that he made a blunder just days into the journey that caused everyone around him to go "dead silent". Marc Sebastian, who is just a few weeks into the extravagant world cruise on Royal Caribbean's Serenade of the Seas, has been giving his followers a glimpse into life on the ship through his TikTok channel, with a humorous twist. He claimed that at lunch he casually mentioned that their ship was only about 100ft longer than the Titanic. He explained: "I brought up to an entire room of people having lunch that our ship is only 100 feet longer than the Titanic and when when I tell you that utensils dropped, waiters gasped - it's dead silent." Only then did a fellow passenger lean over and quietly inform him that "you're not allowed to talk about the Titanic".

Given that the notorious Titanic sank in 1912 after colliding with an iceberg, it's hardly surprising that people don't wa.
