Thursday, July 11, 2024 Conference News has teamed up with the Global Destination Sustainability Movement (GDS-Movement), an international change agency, to support the CN Sustainability Summit 2024. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, 24 July, at the Chicago Booth London Conference Centre. As part of this collaboration, GDS-Movement’s Jennifer Jensen will host a panel discussion featuring UK destination representatives from Manchester, Belfast, Cambridge, and Newcastle.

The discussion will focus on leveraging the power of events to foster more regenerative cities. Additionally, GDS-Movement will deliver a keynote session to close the event, emphasizing regenerative MICE strategies and utilizing events as a force for good. Jack Newey, portfolio director at Conference News, commented : “We are really excited to partner with the GDS-Movement through a content partnership.



The aim is to help bring awareness and education for event planners around which UK & Global destinations are making a conscious effort to track and promote sustainability and legacy for events.
