Thursday, June 13, 2024 This spring, nearly 24,000 attendees had the opportunity to experience the newly expanded Colorado Convention Center (CCC) firsthand. Denver played host to three major events: the National Science Teaching Association’s (NSTA) National Conference on Science Education, the American Academy of Neurology’s (AAN) Annual Meeting, and the Red Hat Summit. Notably, the Red Hat Summit took full advantage of the center’s enhancements, utilizing the expanded Bluebird Ballroom and pre-function terrace to seamlessly execute their original plans without any modifications.
Located within walking distance of over 12,500 hotel rooms, the Colorado Convention Center (CCC) is perfect for meetings and conventions of any size. Following the 2023 rooftop expansion project, the CCC now stands as one of the most advanced conference centers in the nation. The newest addition, the Terrace Level with the Bluebird Ballroom, offers 80,000 square feet of versatile, column-free space, 35,000 square feet of pre-function area, and a 20,000-square-foot outdoor terrace boasting panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains and downtown Denver.
