Wednesday, May 29, 2024 The Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management of Florida International University greets with open arms an inspiring array of hospitality real estate leaders to its newly formed Hospitality Real Estate Advisory Board. The new board members will assist as well as offer expert guidance related to hospitality industry to Associate Dean, Professor Clay Dickinson and Professor Emeritus Rocco M. Angelo and Michael Cheng, Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management Dean at FIU on the growing hospitality and real estate sector.
They are happy to have these industry leaders shape the real estate program of Chaplin School and tactical efforts by offering real-time perceptions into the present need of the market related to hospitality and real estate, said Dickinson. Their main target is to mix the work ethic of the FIU student with a practical curriculum that is industry-based to make graduates who are all set to hit the ground, succeeding in the highly competitive international market of today’s world. The aim of the new HREAB board revolves on developing the practical relevancy of the real estate curriculum of Chaplin School and the experiences of its students through internships, mentoring engagement with industry leaders.
The members of the board will provide their insights, philanthropy and time and act as ambassadors for FIU Chaplin School..
