There are severe delays on the A12 caused by a broken down lorry. National Highways said lane one on the A12 heading towards Ipswich at Stratford St Mary is closed for the recovery of a heavy goods vehicle. The incident was reported ahead of rush hour on Thursday morning.
Delays are believed to be 45 minutes long. Traffic sensors show severe delays on the major route with traffic queuing as far back as junction 29 in Colchester in Essex. It is not yet known when the lane will reopen.
